CPD Event: Advising the Advisers!
A CPD event for all those involved in Information, Advice and Guidance in animal-related areas

Where?
Nottingham Trent University, Brackenhurst Campus
When?
Wednesday 27th January 2009, 10.00am – 4.00 pm
Who?
The event will be of interest to:
- - Schools Careers Advisors
- Connexions staff
- FE tutors
What?
A range of presentations and workshops including:
- Career opportunities in animal-related subjects (i.e. Veterinary, Animal, Equine, Wildlife Conservation)- - Courses and qualifications in the sector
- - Supporting FE learners in applying to HE (UCAS applications , financial advice etc)
- - Introduction to CAVE (Vetnet LLN’s freely accessible course search and - IAG resource)
There will also be ample opportunity to network and share good practice, and an optional tour of the Brackenhurst estate and other facilities used to support curriculum delivery in the sector.
This event is funded by Vetnet LLN (www.vetnetlln.ac.uk) and is sponsored by CAVE (www.cave.ac.uk) - the online resource for animal-related Courses, Careers and Case Studies.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided, and CPD certificates of attendance issued if required.
